Dying With Dignity Victoria and the World Federation of Right To Die Societies cordially invite you to the 2010 WFRTDS Public Symposium day: Dying with Dignity - Bridging Principles and Practice.
Who should attend
The symposium is open to the public, and is recommended for medical and allied care professionals including doctors, nurses, administrators and volunteers, civic and political leaders and legislators, ethicists, members of faith communities and all those interested in ensuring that each individual experiences what for them is a dignified death.
Program
The program is shown below and will be updated from time to time. Speakers include distinguished and respected thinkers and commentators from around the country and the world. There is the opportunity in each session for audience members to ask questions.
Debate is sure to be lively...don't miss it!
Location
The symposium is at Rydges on Swanston, 701 Swanston Street, Carlton, in the conference centre on the top floor. Tram numbers 1, 3, 3a, 5, 6, 8, 64, 67 and 72 run up Swanston Street from the city. Alight at Lincoln Square Park, stop 3. More information on getting there here...
Please prepare to arrive early and present to the registration desk from 8:15am, and well before 8:40am for a punctual start to the symposium.

Pensioners and non-members
Please note that pensioners will be asked to provide pension ID during registration on the day. Ticket cost for DWDV non-members includes a complimentary membership of DWDV for one year. If you do not want to be recorded as a DWDV member, simply state so clearly in the address/comment section of the checkout.
