After weeks of appointments & bureaucracy I finally took delivery of the VAD drug yesterday.
After a 7.5 year journey with cancer of the Larynx, I can’t tell you what a relief it is to finally have control over the way my life ends.
My wife & I want to express our deep gratitude for the relentless fight that DWD(Vic) & its members have fought over many years to bring this much needed & overdue legislation into Law.
We know there is still much to do to improve the legislation & hopefully next April will see further progress in this area.
It’s not easy winning against, prejudices, Ideology & religious dogma but it’s amazing what can be achieved if enough people demonstrate common sense.
